Europa Concerts is the new touring business from UK-based domestic and international concert promoter Mike Jones.

What began as a school-time fundraising job for friends quickly developed into the start of a life-long passion for live events. Starting in his early teens, Mike began to promote touring bands throughout much of Wales and the West of England. Over time an informal touring circuit was developed and he began to programme and operate venues on an in-house basis. For several years in his late teens he programmed and operated the legendary TJ’s venue in Newport, South Wales.

Struggling to accelerate development outside of the South West and frustrated at a perceived glass ceiling in the market, in the early 2010’s Mike co-founded The MJR Group, later to become TEG MJR. This period saw the beginning of major expansion both domestically and overseas, including into Australasia, South East Asia, South Africa, the Middle East, Mainland Europe, and Scandinavia. 

During that time he presented events at some of the world's most famous concert venues including Sydney Opera House, Melbourne Festival Hall, Dubai Opera, Kirstenbosch National Botanical Gardens, Manilla KIA Theatre, Auckland Town Hall, and many more... 

This enabled Mike to further strengthen his touring portfolio in the domestic market, presenting world-class events in iconic venues such as The O2 Arena, The Royal Albert Hall, Manchester Arena, and Dublin’s 3Arena.

Following a company buyout at The MJR Group in 2019, Mike felt it was time for a fresh start. Europa Concerts will lean on nearly two decades of skills and experience as it launches amidst some of the most challenging conditions ever faced by concert promoters.  

Mike is a promoter that is truly dedicated to the craft, with a ‘never give up’ approach to achieving his objectives. Working successfully with virtually all genres of live concert touring, he has altered his approach as new trends and wider market forces dictate.
